Feeding Us Both: A Haul for the Week Ahead
Grocery Haul for a Week of Simple, Family-Friendly Meals ππ΄
This week’s grocery haul is all about simplicity, balance, and making sure both me and Ermias have what we need! With a mix of meals that are easy to prep and tasty enough to keep Ermias happy, here’s what I’ve picked up:
π Fruits & Veggies: Apples, bananas, avocados, cucumbers, carrots, and broccoli for quick snacking and to pack into meals. Plus, some tomatoes for our fresh salads! π₯
π½️ Proteins: Chicken for my salad bowls and salmon bites (his favorite!), plus ground turkey for a quick skillet dinner. ππ
π₯ Salad & Mix-ins: Salad mix, feta cheese, quinoa, and tzatziki sauce—keeping things fresh and simple for easy lunches and dinners. πΏ
π For the Picky Eater: Mac and cheese cups (because you just never know!) and plenty of fruits and crunchy snacks like cheese sticks and crackers. π
π₯ A Little Extra: Hard-boiled eggs for me and some delicious, quick snacks to keep Ermias fueled and happy while we continue exploring new foods. π
It’s all about offering a variety while sticking to the familiar favorites. Ermias is going through a big growth spurt, so I’m focusing on making sure he gets the right mix of food, even if it’s mostly snacking and nursing for now. πΌπ±
